Nanah Organic spearmint hydrosol

Our Bioflore hydrosols are 100% pure, preservative-free and of food-grade quality. They can be used both internally and externally, for skin and hair care.

Concentration: all our hydrosols are grade 1, i.e. 1 kilo of plants are distilled for 1 litre of water, ensuring a quality hydrosol, rich in active ingredients and with an intense fragrance.

Also known as Moroccan mint, Nanah spearmint or sweet mint has the incomparable aroma and scent of mint tea, and its freshness is reminiscent of chlorophyll chewing gum (the natural version!).

Produced by steam distillation of fresh Nanah spearmint leaves in France, this organic hydrosol is renowned for:

Natural beauty

Nanah Spearmint hydrosol can be used as a facial tonic, applied with a washable cotton pad, as a compress or sprayed onto the skin:

• Clarifies the complexion
• Purifies the skin thanks to its antibacterial properties
• Tightens pores, astringent action
• Tones the skin
• Calms redness by activating microcirculation
• Refreshes and purifies areas prone to perspiration (feet, underarms...). Spray directly on these areas or add to your homecare recipes.
• Refreshes and soothes the skin after the sun or after shaving.

Cooking

This hydrosol is marvellous in cooking, adding a note of plant freshness to savoury dishes (taboulés, vinaigrettes) or sweet dishes (fruit salads, fruit mousses, dessert creams...). You can also use it as an infusion (1 teaspoon of hydrosol for a cup of hot water or green tea) or to flavour your cocktails with its invigorating aroma.

• 1 to 2 tablespoons in 1 litre of water, to be drunk throughout the day, temporarily or as a course of treatment, for 10 to 21 days.
• 1 teaspoon in a glass of water after a meal to aid digestion and freshen breath.
• 1 teaspoon per 500ml of cooking liquid to flavour a dish.
• For spraying on the face or body, remember to order the Misting device for aluminium bottle.

The 200 ml bottles combine lightness with optimal protection: an aluminium outer shell and an inner layer made from food-grade, bisphenol A-free resin, providing an effective UV barrier and good thermal insulation. This choice also helps to reduce the carbon footprint thanks to the lightweight packaging.

We also organise the recycling of the aluminium: the bottles can be returned to Bioflore in Wavre or to L’Herboristerie de Louise in Brussels, to be sent to a company that recycles and reuses the material.

If you’d like to use this hydrosol as a mist, a spray nozzle is available for purchase: simply screw it onto your bottle and reuse it on your future bottles. An economical and eco-friendly solution that helps reduce waste.

As they contain no preservatives, we recommend storing our hydrosols in the fridge to best preserve their quality and avoid exposure to temperature fluctuations.

Once opened, we recommend using them within 3 months.
